Tuesday 3rd June……Congratulations to ‘Big Lee Williams’ , his wife ‘Emma’ won last week, so he probably had to save face this week and take home the trophy !  Only 11 players but what a battle - ‘HAND OF THE NIGHT’  - Diane was all in with her Q J unsuited short stacked, Ky was all in with Q5 of hearts with not many more chips, 2 big chip leaders called also with AK, AJ, Diane hit the straight on the FLOP with A,Kh,10, 5h, Jh  but KY scraped in with a very cheeky flush to knock her out of the tournament, but brought Ky right back into the game.  Next week should be interesting, We’re still waiting for ‘PINCHY’ to kick in, but is he burnt out!  Ha Ha!  Watch this spot!!!

Well done to ‘The Baron’ who managed to knock Vonny off her leader spot (grrrrr) …….. with Lee hard on his heels and gunning for 1st place next week …….. again Shazza played it carefully to come a very respectable 3rd ……. welcome to Golden Fox and Evsy our newest members.

Saturday League….. Well Done Lyndon!  He took full advantage of the Loyalty cards that gave him a chip boost!  Only 9 players competing but hoping numbers will improve as word gets round.  Can he do it again on Tuesday?  Can ‘Pinchy’  the Wales Poker League highest monthly scorer and Grand Final ‘Top Table’ contender come back from the dead?  We’ll have to wait and see!!!

Only 10 players, but a good game was had especially for Marc ‘ARTHUR’ Phillipps, he gained the chip lead from the beginning and slowly took each player out!  

Well done! To EMMA-LEE, her  first tournament game ever - she only learnt to play last week, stayed in till 6th.

Well done to Clive Cornish who took 1st in this weeks tournament 19/05/08, we had 31 players this week and lots of good poker play which is great to watch.  Dont forget folks with another Bank Holiday looming our tournament will be taking place at 1pm on the Sunday 5th May not the Monday which is taken over by the Music Fest. First week and quite a success, with 14 players & 18 registered!

Our Week 1 winner was our last person to register and came in at the break -  was ‘Daryl ‘M’ Maynard’ so for folks that find it difficult to make the start of the game he proved himself with just 1500 chips.  A close 2nd was Mike Pinch who busted Diane Evans’ POCKET ROCKETS in the first session, but she came through after the break to finish in 3rd place!
