We have now got confirmation of the dates for the quarterly and national finals from Grosvenor Casinos and can confirm the following:

Quarterly Finals

1. The quarterly finals will be regional, held at five Grosvenor Casinos across the country over two weekends.

2. The finals will be combined with the finals for the Champions Poker League in order to give away a bigger prize, ensure a large number of entrants for each final and to introduce the players from the two leagues to each other.

3. The finals will be held at the following venues on these dates:

19/07/08

Grosvenor Bristol - capacity 90
Registration starts 1pm, tournament starts 2pm

Grosvenor Leeds Merrion - capacity 90
Registration starts 1pm, tournament starts 2pm

26/07/08

Grosvenor Luton - capacity 100 (200 overspill)
Registration starts 1.30pm, tournament starts 3.30pm

G Casino Manchester - capacity 140
Registration starts 1pm, tournament 2pm

Grosvenor Walsall - capacity 200
Registration starts 3pm, tournament 4pm

4. Players can attend any of the finals they wish on either date, but please note that each venue has a maximum capacity as listed above and priority will be given to players who have pre-registered. We will still try to squeeze any additional players in but we may have to operate an ‘alternate’ system (players go in as other players are knocked out) if the number of players is too high, so PLEASE PRE-REGISTER so that we can make arrangements.

5. Guests are welcome to attend, but please note that as the final venue is a casino, under 18’s will not be allowed entry. There will be sit and go tournaments available for guests and players knocked out of the main tournament to play in.

National Final

1. The national final will be held at the grosvenor casino in Walsall on the 13th of September 2008.

2. This will be a combined national final with the Champions Poker League in order to increase the size of the available prize and introduce the top players from ANPL and CPL to each other.

Full details, including prizes, will be sent out with quarterly final invitations late next week

Happy New Year!

The new year is upon us and so is our new season! This season is running from the 6th of January through to the 29th of March, so it’s time to start playing again guys! Get down to your local venue for some great pub poker action!
